Under an hour until my presentation in religion class. I will survive this, I will not freak out when I'm up there in front of the class. Gah.

In other news, voting is up at hogwarts_elite, and when that is finished I promise I will let you read the essay and song. I've seen a few other songs that started from the same premise as mine did, but, if I can say this without being arrogant, I think I did a bit better job on it. No clue if anybody else will agree, but at least I don't feel like I'm out of my depth in that contest.

The Christmas wishlist is spreading on my flist, which has me very happy.

And I've reached the halfway point on my blanket, and it looks like I'll have a skein of yarn left. Anybody want a skarf? The color scheme would be medium blue, deep rose, and white.

My roomate has completely moved out. It'll take another day or two for the phone line to transfer to her room, but then I should be alone for the rest of the semester. I need to think about how I'm going to reorganize the room, right now it just looks half empty.

And its scary how long a year is online. Last year at this time, I was diving head first into the NCIS special ops board. I made some of my closest online friends there. But now I haven't been over there for a few weeks, except for when I remember (aka Mezzo reminds me) the chats. It seems like all of the people I was close to there on the board are also on livejournal, and I don't know or have any real desire to know any of the new people on the board.

You know, I completely understand this. I'm not on the Spec Ops board anywhere near as much as I used to be either. Oh, I go and I peruse it a couple times a day, mostly because I'm supposed to. But I rarely post anymore. Some of the new people that have "taken the board by storm" seem to do just fine without my input.

Yeah, most of the old guard that was active when I joined seem to be phasing out. And since I was mainly there after the first month because of you guys, I'd prefer to be with you here where I don't have to wade through as much to find you.
