When I told you that I didn't want you to jump off the stage like that because I didn't want you to crack your skull open, I didn't say it so that you could then break your forearm instead.

Yes, that was my morning. When we're in the tutoring room, if the students finish their assignment, we let them go shoot hoops in the gym. One of the boys, not one of my main students, decided to jump off the stage and try to grab the basketball hoop. He did not land well, and the x-ray of his forearm showed that he managed to snap both radius and ulna, right below the radial head. His wrist and forearm ended up kind of z-shaped.
*sighs* I'm chocolate overdosing when I get home on Friday.
On the plus side, Dad is home from the hospital, and on a new set of blood thinners. So there was a bit of decent news today.
