Puddle Jumping
May. 31st, 2013 04:03 pmMost of the time, I try to remember that at 27 I should be a responsible adult. If I want things prepped for my job, it's my responsibility to get them, cloths need to be washed, dishes put in the dishwasher when I'm done using them, my room should get picked up occasionally, library books need to be returned on some sort of schedule.
And then there are days like today, when a good heavy thunderstorm rolls in on a warm day, and I'm glad I haven't forgotten how to be a little kid who loves to run out and dance in the rain.
Because sometimes puddles exist, and they need to be jumped in, without thinking about how soaked your skirt is going to get. Skirts dry out, puddles aren't always there.
