Lightning does strike twice
Jun. 17th, 2013 06:19 amOne of my irrational/semi-rational worries before this training began was that lightning just wouldn't strike twice. That something about the chemistry of the February Florida weekend wouldn't be there, and instead of meshing into this amazing, supportive, tribe that I'd described from that weekend, we'd find ourselves not quite comfortable with each other, and the two weeks of training would be less than what any of us hoped for.
Yesterday, it didn't take past the second group coming in to blow all of those fears out of the water. It wasn't lightning, it wasn't luck, it wasn't one or two of the missing people being the source of the comfort level we all had. We still had the synergy, we still had the feeling of coming home and meeting new people who were dear old friends.
Also, on a hunt for four-leaf clovers, I found a six-leafed one. How's that count for luck, I want to know?
