O'Toole's law day
Aug. 10th, 2005 08:59 amIt's not even nine o'clock, and I already want to through in the towel.
My new skirt, the one that Mom and I made together is fraying at the seams. We're not sure if we can fix it. Sigh.
I was trying to get Sara on the bus, and I twisted my ankle going down the front porch steps. That ended with me dropping Sara sideways into the garden. She wasn't hurt, but it did scare her a bit.
The kids are underfoot, although they're still behaving themselves so far.
And Mom is tired and hot, which means her patience is running short. I told her to take a time out, which means the kids are with me as I type this.
It's only nine, how much worse can this day get?
Note to self, I need to call my roommate, see who's bringing what.
