As I'm going to be whining a bit in this entry, I thought I'd start with something pleasant. This is another pretty quiz stolen from gibbsgirl

Now on to the whining. The good news is that I've figured out what's been causing the headaches and generalized ickiness of the past week or so. The bad news is that there's nothing I can do about it right now. I've got eyestrain again. Actually, I should have known this was my problem before now, as I've only been through this how many times since I started wearing glasses? My eyes keep changing, and so by the end of the year the glasses that worked so well at the beginning of the year don't correct properly for my eyes.

I'm sorry about your eyes. I know how sucky that can be (despite, you know, not actually wearing my glasses unles I have to).

If I don't wear my glasses, I'm practically blind. A pair has not been off my face aside from sleeping for any long span of time since I was in second grade.

I'm nearsighted and I have a lazy right eye. Means that my perscription is really lopsided.

Nearsighted meaning you can only see things up close? Because that's what I have too; only that though. And, because my left eye's a lot better than my right, it's not as bad as it could be.

Ugh, that's awful. My sister used to get that all the time, before she got her reading glasses.

My prescriptions usually wear out in a year or so, too. Does your (or your parents') insurance/eye plan only cover once-a-year appointments? :(

*hug* Not that it'll do much good, but someone once told me you can never have too many hugs. :)

At least now I'm aware of it and can make some changes to rest my eyes a bit. Go for higher contrast on the computer, increase font size if it bugs me, give my eyes more of a break while reading.

I think it's only once a year appointments.
