What is with the weather today? We've already had one tornado warning, which ended up involving the entire compliment of Morton sitting in the first floor hallway this morning, there was a severe thunderstorm last night which has caused a lot of flooding, and we're in for more they say, as we sit here under a tornado watch.

ETA: Okay, we just had our second tornado warning of the day, and the rest of the classes have been canceled. And they're saying not to get too comfortable, as more are on the way.

And I can't even stay tucked up in my nice little room, as I have labs to go to.

Anatomy lab was fun today, we played around with tests for the various different senses. My peripheral vision is as bad as I thought, and in my right eye, with glasses on, I still can only read the top line of the eye chart. I did make a suggestion for an improvement on the scent test. One of the scents that she's been using is banana concentrate, which is so strong that it doesn't smell like bananas anymore. I suggested she use vanilla instead, as that is something that is more easily identifiable even when it is stronger than normal.

And I do have Physics lab next tuesday, which means I have to talk to Sam about when her mom should pick us up. I'll either be doing waves in a slinky or the speed of sound. Hopefully those will be shorter labs, but I can't count on getting out before five.

We're about to get a huge storm... I guess you live near the Ohio Valley/Mississipppi River too. O.O; ack.

It was raining really bad here (Louisville, KY) this morning and we're under a severe thunderstorm advisory until tomorrow. :| Not fun.

And my thoughts towards school... *points to icon*

I'm in Evansville, IN, right at the southwest tip of the state. So yeah, right in that area.

I remember doing those tests in a biology lab. I miss doing that kind of stuff :( I miss school in general. Too bad they don't have a job where you can get paid to go to school--like some kind of surveyor type thing, where you rate schools on the types of classes, quality of teaching, curriculum, career placement...

And tornadoes are horrible. When I was in seventh grade, there was this one that took off the roof of an inn along the route the school bus took...and blew the bus off the road.

That morning I had made my mom call me in sick because I just didn't want to walk to the bus stop while it was raining, which I will be forever thankful for.
