Nov. 17th, 2005 07:56 pmOkay somebody needs to tell all of the various little plot bunnies and vid bunnies that I can't make them. Because they're starting to bite, and bite hard.
The most recent one came to me, probably because Harry Potter has been on my mind a lot lately. But I keep getting this picture of a HP vid to the song "You Forgot that I Could Fly". I've even got it all plotted out, metaphors, in some cases specific scenes that I'd love to use. For example, there's this one line that says "with every step you pushed me/ever closer to the edge/with your finger in my chest/I did my best there on that ledge" I'd love to use some scences of Vernon Dursley bullying Harry there. The whole song's about how the singer's been pushed to be something she's not, and when she's pushed to the breaking point, she remembers what she really is. It's a wonderful metaphor for what the Dursleys tried to do to stop Harry from being a wizard. Plus, the constant mentions of flight, coupled with Harry's love of flying. *whimpers* And I can't make it! I don't have the technology, the source material, or the time/talent.
So, this vid bunny is up for adoption to a good home. Anybody here able to make it and interested?
In other, somewhat related news, I will be watching the movie in approximately four hours. I'll post my reaction to it here of course, under the cut tag.
