Ordinary life
Aug. 11th, 2005 11:55 amToday's better than yesterday, at least. Mom thinks she's figured out a way to save my skirt. And I managed to call up my roommate. I don't have to bring much except for some curtains, my stuff, and cookies.
Irony of ironies, I will be rooming with a clone of my sister. Her name's Elizabeth, she's also a red-head, she's an artist, and she has trouble keeping her room clean and waking up in the morning. We're friends, so I won't have to move out, which is better than last year's three separate roommates. Honestly, I'm not that hard to get along with, am I?
The guys left at the crack of dawn this morning to go on their boy scout trip. This one's up to the sand dunes, I think it's near Lake Erie. Thomas said he's planning on burying himself up to his neck in the sand. I want pictures if he makes it.
Mom decided to make up for yesterday being such a pill, so she picked up bagels on the way home from dropping off the boys.
Kids are okay today, when Audrey got fussy we sat and watched a few music videos I have saved on my computer, and I helped her dance. Calmed her down.
And tommorow afternoon to Saturday afternoon I will have the house to myself. Mom's taking Sara out on the church overnight campout, but knowing my feelings on camping, she's letting me stay home. Stephanie, you want to come over and do something Saturday?
