This is rather late, isn't it? I was planning on updating yesterday, and then I got distracted.
For anyone who has not noticed, I made it back to school intact. That's the good news. The bad news was that my ride left at 8:30 in the morning, so I had to miss church! *weeps, wails, gnashes teeth* I mean, sure, I've got compline on my computer, but I look forward to church when I'm home. My church is as much home to me as my house is, and we only had a short service on Wednesday. At least I got to talk to some of my friends from church, and hug some of the kids (especially little JJ, who actually remembered me!).
On the other hand, getting into school earlier meant that I was here when the cute geeky guy called and asked if he could cook dinner for me. He'd been stuck here over break (something that, if I had known about it beforehand, it wouldn't have happened as I'd have dragged him home with me), and he had extra food he wanted to use up. I agreed as long as I could help cook. We had a pleasant evening and talked for a good three hours.
Today I got back my Bathsheba paper from Dr. Stein. I got an A on the paper, and my group got a B+ on the presentation. Considering who I was working with, I find that more than reasonable.
The rest of this, people can ignore. Mom wants a list of books and music that I'd like for Christmas, and this is the best place to stick it.
This is pretty much in order of desirablity.
1. Thud, by Terry Pratchett
2. A Wizard of London, by Mercedes Lackey
3. Moon something or another, it's three different novelas about the moon, one of which is written by Mercedes Lackey.
4. Burning Water, by Mercedes Lackey
5. The latest Pern by Anne McCaffrey
6. Maskerade, by Terry Pratchett
Music!
1. The latest Ceili Rain, it's available on their website, go to http://www.ceilirain.com, merchandice, cd's, I think it's called Change in Your Pocket.
2. Either the first or third Superchick, they've got four out, the one I've got is called Last One Picked, so you don't accidentally get one I already have. Again, you can find them on their website, go to google and type in Superchic[k]
3. Copies of Steve McDonald and Gaelic Storm, any and all of them.
4. Martina McBride
I'm going to stop before I get greedy.
