Okay, given what the weather has been like the past few days, I'm really glad I got home when I did. It's snow over ice outside.

I'm starting to relax and get into the rhythem of home again. Of course, for my family, that includes dealing with children underfoot. Mom's out on errands, so I'm on child care duty. For the most part, it's not too bad. She's happily amusing herself. And then there are the moments, like now, when she falls onto her bottom and starts crying. Luckily, she calmed herself down, and is going after some of the stuffed animals.

Tommorow and Sunday are going to be busy. We have the tree-trimming party on Saturday. Right now it looks like it's going to be just family. But still, cookies, family, and decorating a Christmas tree should be fun.

And Sunday we're going to have an early Christmas up in Sydney, so that we can celebrate with Grandma, Aunt Cindy, and Uncle Scott. So we get two Christmases this year.

And there's a Quantum Leap marathon on Sci-fi channel right now.

Oh, and this is my new icon from celtic_sky. She thought with the amount of hugs I give, I needed a hugging icon.

Sorry, I forgot about Sydney, Austrailia for a minute when I was posting that. Sydney, Ohio is a small town about an hour north of Dayton. My aunt and uncle and my grandmother live up there.

Thing with physics prof went, he's going to jury-rig something.

And yes, the tree trimming party is exactly what it sounds like. We haul in a Christmas tree, and spend the afternoon/evening decorating it and partying with family.
