Dec. 28th, 2005 10:45 pmI seem to be in a fandom mode this week. Sadly, I haven't had much to talk about this week in real life. I've just been reading lots of books, which, while fun, is not exactly thrilling journal material unless I know other people to discuss it with. In light of that, I'm jumping on this bandwagon:
Name a fandom you know I know and I'll tell you:
1. The first character/person I first fell in love with
2. The character/person I never expected to love as much as I do now
3. The character/person everyone else loves that I don't
4. The character/person I love that everyone else hates
5. The character/person I used to love but don't any longer
6. The character/person I would *ahem* anytime
7. The character/person I'd want to be like
8. The character/person I'd slap
9. A pairing that I love
10. A pairing that I despise

Date: 2005-12-29 07:46 pm (UTC)1. I think it was Scotty.
2. McCoy. He's now my all time favorite.
3. I never felt much of a connection to Spock. He's great, but I have no real bond with him.
4. None that I can think of. It's been a while, and I was never really in this fandom as a fandom.
5. I used to really like Chekov. I don't as much anymore. I still like him, just not as much.
6. None of them, actually. Nobody really caught my eye that much from this series.
7. McCoy. He cared so much about people, even when he tried to hide it.
8. Probably Kirk, although that really comes from Shatner.
9. Sarek/Amanda
10. I don't really go for the Kirk/babe of the week, or Kirk/Spock.

Date: 2005-12-29 11:03 pm (UTC)2. Neville. I didn't even think about him at first, but now he's my favorite character. I'd be most upset if he doesn't get a good life in the end.
3. I don't really like Ron. He's got a lot of good points, but he's the one who most consistantly grates on my nerves.
4. In this fandom, everone is alternately loved and hated. Sadly, many people seem to hate Tonks, maybe because she messed up Remus/Sirius, maybe because they felt she fell apart too much in HBP. But I love her.
5. I don't have as much of a bond with Hermione anymore.
6. Remus. Or Neville in about five years.
7. Professor Sprout. After what she said at the end of HPB, and her general attitude throughout the books, she's just a beautiful person.
8. During most of OoTP, I really wanted to slap Sirius. I understood what was happening to him, but I still wanted to slap some sense into him, then sneak him out of London and let him run around as a dog in a park somewhere.
9. Remus/Hermione. They could work.
10. Ron/Hermione. They don't seem to respect each other and they keep fighting the same battle, and they get vicious with each other. To me that's not passionate, that's scary.

Date: 2005-12-29 11:17 pm (UTC)As for LOTR
1. Frodo.
2. Sam. He's someone I care deeply about.
3. Legolas.
4. Boromir. I've always seen more in him than the betrayal
5. Frodo, actually. My love for him waned a bit when I fell in love with Sam.
6. Aragorn.
7. Galadrial.
8. Tom Bombadil. He just got annoying after a while.
9. Eowyn/Faramir.
10. Merry/Pippen.

Date: 2005-12-30 12:37 am (UTC)2. Ducky! He grew fast.
3. Tony. Don't get me wrong, I like him, but he gets annoying after a while.
4. Jimmy Palmer. *snuggles the geeky boy*
5. None really.
6. If he were younger or I was older, Ducky.
7. None of them are me.
8. Right now, Ziva. She's a good character, but she does annoy me at times.
9. I can't see a good one right now.
10. Kate/Ari. (yes, I have seen these around)
