I've seen this one around, but I think I'm one of the first on my flist to actually agree with the suggested majors.

Your Scholastic Strength Is Deep Thinking

You aren't afraid to delve head first into a difficult subject, with mastery as your goal.
You are talented at adapting, motivating others, managing resources, and analyzing risk.

You should major in:

Philosophy
Music
Theology
Art
History
Foreign language

In other school related news, I got a letter from the PT board today, saying that I could keep my direct entry if my cumulative GPA is above 3.35 the semester before I apply for the master's program, and fulfill the other requirements. Withdrawing from the semester was probably a good thing then, because I won't have to worry about my grades being affected by this semester's illness.

On the illness front, today was a down day. The second run of antibiotics has worn off, but the third round hasn't taken affect yet, and on a day that's playing merry havoc with everyone's sinuses, I was rather out of it, to the point where the librarians were noting and commenting on it.

I'm half watching, half ignoring the ice skating tonight. You can definitely tell my bias, I'm commenting on the grace of arms and posture, and how the music fits the skating, while the judges are complaining about the technical aspects. What can I say, I'm a dancer, not a skater.

I am SO with you on the ice-skating thing. The girl who won gold didn't deserve it. Technically perfect, but she didn't make me feel anything. Just not... elegant? Expressive? I don't know.

I'm a big fan of Sasha Cohen for that, actually. You can tell she loves what she does, and she feels every part of it. And she has the most amazing extensions and lines.

I used to dance, too. :) For 12 years. Ballet, tap, jazz, modern, hip-hop... I miss it lots. What kind of dance did you do?

I was trained in ballet, mainly, as a hobby. But I've been doing liturgical dance through my church for years, and that tends to be more free-form, though you can definitely tell my influences. It's my main artistic outlet, I love how the music transports you.

Ooh, that's a cool meme. But yeah, I don't agree with the majors they gave me. :D

And that is a good thing about your uni.

As for the illness. *hugs*

And I definitely have to agree with the iceskating - sorta. One of the things I hate about watching ice skating is the technical aspect of it. The tricks look cool and all, but they always jar me out of watching as they don't seem to go with the music (which is really the musician in me talking - so not a dancer).

*hugs back*

It's not so much what you major in, it's how you apply those traits. I know a friend who got analysis for her skill, and the majors they suggested were things like accounting. She's going into archaeology, she'll be using analysis and deductive reasoning non-stop there.
