On corrupting children
Aug. 17th, 2005 12:34 pmMom is at it again. Not content with corrupting my siblings and I, she is now after the next generation! What is she doing, you ask? She's taking the children to the library! And they like it! Gasp, shudder, et cetera. The horror, the horror!
If you couldn't tell that was sarcastic, geez, you really don't know me. We took the kids over to the library this morning, and they got to pick out some books to read, or in Audrey's case, chew on. They charmed the librarians, which is easy for a baby to do right up until they throw that first screaming temper tantrum in your presence.
We've also decided that we're going to try and switch their schedules out of the two nap a day schedule into one longer nap. That will help when Mom has to drive down to Alter to pick Thomas up from school. It also might help with some of Audrey's temper, as she seems to hate morning naps.
I started cleaning out my trunk this morning, so that I can use it to pack stuff for school. There was a lot of good stuff in there, things that I'd forgotten about. A folder with music from chorus in high school, certificates for awards that I'd recieved in high school, and my acceptance letter from Evansville.
I also found the photo album that my aunt and uncle started for me last year. Twenty thousand pictures of me at graduation and of my graduation party, mostly looking embarrassed to be caught on camera. There were also some wonderful pictures of Stephanie and Jessica, two people who I do not have enough pictures of.
