Okay, this episode? Rocked. McKay was perfect throughout. He was so happy and excited about what they found, and so in his element throughout the first half of the episode. Geekgasms galore. And his converstions to Elizabeth? Set my little shipper's heart alight. They did connect, and Elizabeth could see what was happening to him so clearly. And her comment about not wanting to loose either one of them? I don't think it was aimed at John. Even the argument at the end was aimed at protecting him. She was upset about his destroying the solar system because it could have killed him.
With qualifications, I did like the B-plot, with Ronan and Teyla. It was good for Ronan to discover more about his world, and it did give us insight into both characters. As with Duet, however, it doesn't work in this episode, and it just distracts from what was really going on.
