May. 12th, 2006 01:32 pmWhy did it get cold? I'm sitting here in my sweatshirt and jeans, and I'm still shivering.
We had our discussion day in Philosophy class. Our teacher divided the class in half, and told the groups to choose between Aquinas's Proofs of God and The Problem of Evil. After a few minutes of silence, a girl in the other group and I spoke up simultaneously. Luckily, we weren't both asking for the same topic.
Our groups didn't stop arguing until two minutes after class was supposed to end, and even then we hadn't reached any answer, nor were we expecting to. But this is what makes Philosophy so much fun.
And yes, I did remember to mention the song to my teacher. She asked me to bring it in on Monday so she could play it for the class. Gleeness.
Our mantelpiece at home is covered in flowers. One of the moms my mother works for brought her a huge bunch of flowers from her garden, and Mom ended up placing them in two separate vases to fit them all. Then I found an iris from the side garden that had bloomed, and considering the forecast for the near future, I decided to pick it this morning so that we could actually enjoy it. The room lookes beautiful with the flowers present.
And this weekend is the spring musical for Alter, my former high school. Thomas has been doing stage crew for it, and he says that they've outdone themselves again.
lady_tigerfish, I know you won't believe this, but they've been getting home from tech week no later than ten in the evening. No working past midnight! *dies of shock*
