mari4212I have a very real sympathy for JKR and her problems with numbers right now.

glacierscout, decided that he's going to tutor me in Physics so that I'll do better when I take it again this year. He was having fun, playing around with a few simple numbers and formula, giving me a brief refresher on trig and the like. Me? After the hour was over I fled and scrubbed a countertop to make myself feel better. At least when I put the effort into cleaning something, I get an actual result.
Now don't get me wrong. I know that I need to learn at least the basics of physics for what I need to do. And I can even appreciate the fact that knowing physics helps in real life occasions. It doesn't stop it from being the one subject that continually beats me over the head.
I really am grateful that Dad's willing to work through the basics with me. But I think from now on I'm going to make sure I have something that I can clean afterwards, to get out all my frustration without screaming or bursting into tears.
