Me and the Moon Staying Up All Night...
Jul. 29th, 2006 11:36 pmI've just gotten back from the second night of the Dayton Celtic Festival, my feet are sore, my hands are tingling from all the clapping I've done, and my throat is absolutely raw from the cheering. And I couldn't be happier.
Seriously, if you're anywhere in the Dayton area, go on Sunday. It's the only free Celtic Festival like it in America, the bands are amazing (Gaelic Storm), and there are some great merchants.
Sadly, one of the best boothes will be leaving after this weekend. The powers that be decided they didn't want to sell weapons, even when most of them are blunted, so he can't come back. I'm rather dissapointed, because that booth owner is incredibly nice. He always remembers Sara and comes out to talk to her. He told us this time that part of it was because he has a disabled son at home, and we talked a bit about how much we love our disabled relatives, but that we wouldn't wish caring for them on our worst enemies.
lady_tigerfish and
x5_jondi, I'm really looking forward to going back out again with you.
