I've got nothing I need to do this afternoon and I really want to write something.

Storm warnings

It rained the night before Fleur and Bill’s wedding. Thundering, pounding rain, fierce and wild.

Hermione couldn’t decide whether it was stunningly appropriate, considering the tensions and challenges the couple had already faced, or a further proof that whoever ran the universe had a truly ironic sense of humor, sending a downpour like this in direct contrast to the attitudes present in the Weasley house that day.

But she smiled as she watched the rain lashing against the windows. Somehow, this storm, however else anyone else would take it, was a perfect expression of Fleur and Bill, dangerous and beautiful.
